Edward Schmidt, President & CEO of CAMELS noted that one benefit of the new location is its close proximity to Otterbein University, which allows CAMELS to offer internship opportunities to the university’s students.
“Sharing CAMELS’ deep experience in the banking industry with interning students from Otterbein University is an excellent way for students with finance and accounting majors to expand their knowledge while gaining practical experience,” Schmidt said.
Built in 1889 by Thomas Holmes, the Holmes Hotel originally had thirty rooms, two retail shops, and a stable. Today the Holmes Hotel is home to a wide variety of businesses. Uptown Westerville has many unique shops and small businesses that create a vibrant, community-oriented town, of which CAMELS is proud to be a part.
